Commentary: Safari of song
The Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus recently sojourned to South Africa on a safari of song that will forever be a milestone in the organization's long and celebrated history. The tour was a tremendous success and Tucsonans can certainly take pride in their local boys.
As chorus director, it was my pleasure to lead the 32 choristers on our four-week journey throughout Africa's southern most country. We traveled to 17 communities from Johannesburg in the north to Cape Town in the south. It was definitely a working tour as the boys performed in 20 concerts to diverse and extremely appreciative audiences. (to read the rest of the article, click here)
